UNDERSTANDING YOUR CURRENCY CONVERSION ESTIMATE

Choose the currency you are starting with and the currency you want to estimate. Enter an amount in the sending currency, then check the receiving currency carefully. Reversing a pair changes the calculation: pounds to euros is not the same operation as euros to pounds. The result is an illustration rather than an agreed payment amount.

CHECK THE DATE AND THE BASIS

The converter uses the available daily reference data. Check the displayed date, particularly over weekends or public holidays. It does not reproduce every provider's buying or selling price. A real transfer may involve an exchange margin, a transfer charge or a receiving-bank fee, so an estimate alone is not enough to decide which offer is cheapest.

USE THE RESULT TO PLAN A QUESTION

If you need a recipient to receive a fixed amount, explain that requirement when requesting a quotation.
